koyamacchi | [Translation] Winkup 2016/03 : NEWS Question 10

Sorry for taking so long to get around to this, been really struggling lately with school & to make matters worse I've grown tolerant to my medications so I'm not very stable :D
But anyway, here's March's Q10!

Question 1: What type of hair arrangement on a woman do you like?
Koyama: Tied up ones
Massu: Dumplings. Dumplings on top of her head (* he's probably talking about this hairstyle, but it sounds funnier to translate it as just "dumpling hair" + I don't know how else I'd translate that into English anyway)
Shige: Ones that are messily tied up are nice!
Tegoshi: Curled hair or pompadours (* In English "pompadour" refers to that weird looking men's hairstyle, but in Japanese it refers to this look)

Question 2: When you type in the "Ko" from "Koyama" what does your phone's word prediction turn it into?
Koyama: "ことなのかと" (* this is kind of difficult to translate into English because it's not really a word or phrase it's something you'd put after a word/phrase)
Massu: "コップも" / "And a cup"
Shige: "ごめん" / "Sorry"
Tegoshi: "事が" / "A thing"

Question 3: When you type in the "Ma" from "Massu" what does your phone's word prediction turn it into?
Koyama: "増田の" / "Masuda's"
Massu: "マジ" / "Seriously"
Shige: "まぁ" / "Well"
Tegoshi: "まったり" / "Laid back"

Question 4: When you type in the "Shi" from "Shige" what does your phone's word prediction turn it into?
Koyama: "じゃあ" / "So"
Massu: "しますか" / "Should we do it"
Shige: "信じたい" / "I want to believe"
Tegoshi: "仕事込みのことだったので" / "It's a thing involving work so" (* I'm not sure about this one, my brain is not processing "仕事込み" - if I'm wrong please let me know, this is bothering me hahaha T__T)

Question 5: When you type in the "Te" from "Tegoshi" what does your phone's word prediction turn it into?
Koyama: "でぃぱー" (* this isn't a word, it could be the beginning of "departure" or something but...)
Massu: "テレビ" / "TV" The suggestion after that is "Tegoshi"
Shige: "電話" / "Phone"
Tegoshi: "出るんでしょ？" / "I'm leaving right?" I wonder what I was saying. I have no idea (laughs)

Question 6: If you were to explain Johnnys to people abroad using just one word what would it be?
Koyama: Japanese Entertainment
Massu: Boy band
Shige: Entertainer
Tegoshi: Boy band

Question 7: What is an item that a popular woman would have?
Koyama: A pack of wet tissues
Massu: A wide brimmed hat
Shige: Hand cream
Tegoshi: A handkercheif

Question 8: You've just found some clothes you've recently bought on sale. What is going through your mind?
Koyama: "Because I tried it on so many times it's losing its shape...!" (* I'm not sure but I think he's trying to justify returning the clothes so he can buy them again on sale)
Massu: "Nobody else buy them!!"
Shige: "How much money did I lose?"
Tegoshi: "Niiiiice"

Question 9: Answer in the style of omikuji (* those fortunes you can get at temples that tell you what kind luck you'll have - "normal luck", "bad luck", etc). How was your luck yesterday?
Koyama: Curse. Because Tegoshi bullied me a lot. In the end I just said "just lose interest already!" (laughs)
Massu: Great Luck. From morning until night I was working so it was a happy day.
Shige: Normal Luck I guess? Nothing good, nothing bad
Tegoshi: Great Luck. I went out to eat with an older guy and learnt a lot.

Question 10: Please draw a demon not worth throwing beans at (* this is referring to Setsubun, which happens in March, where you throw beans at demons to get rid of bad luck and bring in good luck)

in the middle of the arrows it says "Beans", so I'm assuming the demon is sucking up all the beans????? Someone needs to do research on understanding Tegoshi Yuya

※ ugggggh this was one of those ones where I just was not processing what they were trying to say & there were just lots of things that didn't translate very well at all so there's lots of awkward answers T_T I need to stop translating at 3AM
